Dean Hendrix Bio
Dean and Brenda Hendrix
Dean and Brenda serve as church planters with a special emphasis on Spanish people in Thornton, Colorado a large suburb of Denver. Although their ministry is centered in Thornton, it reaches Spanish speaking people all over the Denver metropolitan area. In January of 1987, Dean and his wife Brenda traveled to Ponce, Puerto Rico where they served in a church planting ministry until August of 2003. Two churches were planted out of their main church. Both of these churches have Puerto Rican pastors today. Then the Hendrix family moved to Denver, Colorado to begin a church planting ministry among the Spanish speaking people in this area. They worked for 3 years through Tri-City Baptist Church in Westminster and Faith Baptist Church in Longmont. Presently, the ministry continues at Tri-City Baptist Church where the Iglesia Bautista de Tri-City has 2 services each Sunday, a Wednesday evening service and a Bible study on Friday nights.

Hendrix Highlights Winter 2013
Dear Friends:
During the last three weeks, five different families have visited our church. We are excited about seeing many of these guests come to Christ. Please pray for: Byron, Manuel, Yadira, Leo, Sonya, Jesus, and Brandi. It would be wonderful if each one of these adults along with their children came to faith in Christ. Pray that God will give us wisdom as we minister to these families.
In June or July we hope to have the Reuben Quiroz family in Colorado to help with our Spanish ministry. Reuben is somewhat of a spiritual grandchild for us. He was ministered to by a young man from our church in Ponce, Puerto Rico, who went as a missionary to Bolivia in the 1990's. Reuben and his family have an effective church planting ministry in Bolivia and are excited that God is leading them to come to Colorado to reach Spanish speakers with the Gospel of Christ.
Immigration reform is a very emotional issue, but I have told our folks many times that the key to fixing the present immigration mess is having firm control of our borders. If the United States can determine who enters our country and who does not, it will be much easier to reach a solution for the many immigrants in our country who have papers that have expired. Please pray that God will give wisdom and resolve to our leaders so they can arrive at a solution that will protect the United States and at the same time allow the hard-working folks that have out of date visas to function legally.
Please continue to pray for the evangelistic efforts of our church. The more we sow, the more we will reap. Our Bible Institute is going well. Although we would like to see more of the folks take advantage of this opportunity, it is encouraging to see the growth of those who are attending.
Thank you very much for your faithful prayers and support. We appreciate your part in our ministry.
Your servants in Christ,
Dean and Brenda
