Mission:

EddyCarolThe VAIB lobbies wthin Virginia and Washington, D.C. on matters relating to moral issues; abortion, marriage, gambling, etc; other matters of concern to Independent Baptist Churches and their ministries.

Eddy Aliff was saved in 1971 near the beginning of his junior year of high school while attending Fellowship Baptist Church. Not long after that Eddy's girlfriend (now his wife) Carol, was also saved. During his college years he remained faithful attending church and serving in vaious youth ministries. After completing college and marrying his high school sweatheard, Carol, he began teaching in the Christian school at Fellowship. They served there from 1976 until 1980 when God directed them to a ministry in Arkansas. They remained in Arkansas until 1983 when they were called to serve at Landmark Baptist Church in Richmond where they served from 1983 until 2009 under Dr. Jim Sumpter and then Pastor Don Sumpter. While at Landmark God blessed them with three children: Erik is married; after graduating from Christian college, he and his woife began teaching in a Christian school in Wisconsin. Sarah is a graduate of a Christian college; she was married in June 2010 and now works in the same Christian school as Erik. Joel graduated from a Christian college with an Air Force ROTC program and is now in training to be a navigator for the Air Force.  Eddy last visited KBC 27 March 2011.
