Burkes

We have been asked not to post any information world that could be related to them and their missions work. Our Lord knows their name and needs.

After a church has been established and is under local leadership, they can then be more open in all that they do. However, even local Christians must be careful in their ministry and are constrained by law as to their opportunities to witness. A very serious and genuine risk of arrest or expulsion exists for Missionaries in this part of the world.

Each of us needs to pray constantly that the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ can be freely shared with the millions of lost souls in this corner of the world. Also pray for safety of our Missionary and his family, local Pastors, and other Christian church members as they put themselves at risk to witness to family and neighbors in their communities.  They last visited our church on 31 July 2011.

1Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.

2 Thessolonians 3:1
